Textured Rings

You may remember that I moved into my new studio in the Hidden Lane at the end of last year with its own entrance and recent visitors to my studio will have noticed that I have been busy improving the space with new cases recently added.

The Hidden Lane, where i work, has some new businesses and there is always a buzz in Finnieston with regular gigs at the nearby Hydro and an evolving range of restaurants to try out. I've had a lot of international visitors this year and I've enjoyed hearing about where they've gone in Scotland. I've learned that we often don't see ourselves in the same way as visitors - they value independent shops in the same way that we like to make discoveries when abroad.

I have just added 12 new rings to my website for you to browse. The Molten Rings are a new approach for me with textured bands available in a choice of precious metals and widths.

The Rise Rings use bands that are hammered from the environment and many have elegant recesses that can also feature a choice of gemstones.

The Flux Ring is created by melting a section of gold wire, meaning the design is caught from a unique moment in time to capture a particular flow of the liquid metal.
